What is collected
- Contact and quote forms: the details you type (name, business, email, phone, message, your package choices). Sent through Netlify Forms to the studio inbox.
- Client login: your email address (to send a sign-in code), your profile, care-plan choice, update requests and saved template edits. Stored with Netlify (data centres in the United States) and, for paid care plans, a customer record at Stripe.
- The template customiser and package builder keep your work in your own browser (local storage) until you choose to save it to your account.
- No advertising trackers. Netlify keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested) for security.
Why, and on what basis
To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, run your care plan and keep your account secure. This is the purpose you give the information for, as PIPEDA requires. Marketing email or texts are only sent with your express consent, which you can withdraw any time by replying "stop" or using the unsubscribe link (CASL).
Who sees it
The studio, and the service providers that run the site: Netlify (hosting, forms, storage), Stripe (payments), Google (email). None of them may use your information for their own purposes.
How long
Enquiries for two years; client records for as long as you have an account plus seven years of billing records for tax purposes. Ask, and anything not required by law is deleted within 30 days.
Your rights
Ask to see what is held about you, correct it, or delete it: email the studio. Complaints can also go to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
